At the Fellowship Memphis Good Friday service, I was asked to do a live art demonstration. Talk about getting wayyyyy outside my comfort zone! This was an incredible opportunity to be inspired by the message and create art on demand in front of an audience. I’m very happy with the result. You can see the finished, framed piece below.

This June I am pleased to announce that my dad and I will be sharing a show together at Memphis Botanic Garden! Lots of new pieces in this show so please come out and support local art! The show runs the entire month of June and is FREE!

A 2018 trip to Louisiana changed my life forever. The stark beauty of the marshes and the people call it home have influenced the stories of my mind, which I turn into art. These are a few clips from that trip paired with some of the drawings they have influenced over the years.

Last year I was asked to be a part of the Arrow Creative annual Holiday Bazaar. I was thrilled to be a part of such a well-received and successful event. So when Arrow asked if I wanted to be part of their new retail space, the answer was an easy and enthusiastic ‘YES!’

A few months ago, I challenged my design team to make a short film about themselves. As we are increasingly tasked with creating videos for our jobs, I saw this exercise as essential to all of our growth and development. It was not an easy task to put on them considering all our day-to-day deadlines, but there were a few reasons I decided to push them in this direction.

Throuought March and April, I will have a show with my dad, David Rawlinson, inside Fratelli’s Cafe. The them of the show is ‘Beauty in Isolation’ and will capture how through two different mediums, similar themes are shared between father and son.

So thrilled to be the feature of this weeks Arrow Creative blog. As part of the ongoing Holiday Bazaar, they are highlighting specific artists from the show and I was honored to be asked.

Im thrilled to have been selected to participate in the annual Holiday Bazaar at Arrow Creative. This show features some of the best artists and craft makers in the city. It runs the entire month of December so please get out there and support these artists…and me!

Beyond humbled that my work will now hang as part of the Oxford Treehouse Gallery collection! We visited a few months ago to take a look around the grounds/gallery and were so impressed that it’s become our favorite spot to visit in Oxford!
